COVERT CAMERAS
Find out more about renting a Construction Camera
ABOUT!
Unlike a normal site camera which proudly sits high in the air offering public presence, a covert camera is designed to give supervisors private views or recordings of an area with less public awareness from site personnel or illegal trespassers. This means cameras must be as small as possible and a few things need to be removed such as solar panels, lights, cases, alarms etc.
Batteries need to be monitored and changed on a regular basis.
So here’s a few tips!
-
The camera can be placed anywhere you like. It does not need solar,
-
Watch your battery levels every few days and change as required, Your kit comes with a spare battery for changeover. Batteries should last 14-30 days depending on level of activity.
(They can be plugged in via USB if power available)
-
Try to keep the area free from moving objects to minimise battery usage.
-
Covert cameras are more about evidence gathering than deterrents. So think twice about turning on your siren. A siren will alert an intruder that the camera is in place
